Allerfy – Estimated allergen probabilities
Allerfy is an information app by ideenGeberHaus. From a photo or a short description, it estimates how likely the 14 major EU allergens are in a dish. Menus can be read from a photo or a PDF.

Allerfy only provides estimated probabilities based on a photo and/or text. This is not a medical diagnosis, not clearance to eat a dish, and not a substitute for ingredient lists, restaurant information, or medical advice. If you are unsure, ask and skip the dish. There is no “allergen-free” promise.
What the app shows
- Choose which of the EU-14 allergens matter to you – from gluten and milk to mustard, sesame, and molluscs.
- Describe a dish with a photo or text, for example “pasta carbonara” or “without parmesan”.
- See an estimated probability from 0 to 100 percent for each allergen.
- Read a menu from a photo, your gallery, or a PDF and get an estimate per dish.
- Save scans and menus, including the place and the name of the menu.
How Allerfy works

Set your allergens
You choose which of the EU-14 allergens matter to you. Scans show these by default.

Capture a dish
A photo or a short description is enough. The date and time of the scan are stored with it.

Read the probability
The app shows estimated percentages. There is no traffic-light rating and no clearance to eat.

Read a menu
Photo, gallery, or PDF: Allerfy recognizes dishes and estimates the EU-14 allergens for each item.

Keep a history
Scans and menus stay available. For a menu, you record which menu it is and where it applies.

The app runs directly in the browser. Saving scans and menus requires an account.
